At Timeless Jewels, we take pride in our expert craftsmanship and high-quality fine jewellery. Our commitment is to provide exquisite and ethically sourced jewellery for our clients to cherish. To ensure the utmost quality, each piece undergoes rigorous quality control testing.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products and services come with automatic guarantees as per the Australian Consumer Law. If you encounter major issues with our service, you are entitled to:

Cancel your service contract with us.

Receive a refund for the unused portion or reimbursement for its reduced value.

For minor issues with our products, you can request a free repair. In the case of a major failure, you are entitled to:

Ask for a refund or replacement.

Have the problem rectified within a reasonable time.

You're also entitled to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable damages or losses resulting from issues with our products or services.

Exceptions to Guarantees

Consumer guarantees do not apply if:

You changed your mind, found a cheaper alternative, or had no use for the product despite receiving what you asked for.
Misuse of the product caused the issue.
You were aware of faults before the purchase.
You insisted on a service against our advice or were unclear about your requirements.

2-Year Warranty

Timeless Jewels offers a free 2-Year Warranty from the invoice date against manufacturing defects in all Gold and Platinum jewellery.

Manufacturing defects in the jewellery structure usually surface within the initial months of wear. Any defect arising from manufacturing will be repaired or replaced by Timeless Jewels at no charge. Shipping and postage costs for returning products due to manufacturing defects will be covered by us.

What is Covered By Our 2-Year Warranty

Examples of manufacturing defects covered under our 2-Year Warranty include:

Porosity, surface pores, or blemishes in the metal.
Uneven settings.
Chips, scratches, or nicks in stones at the time of pick-up.
Rhodium plating stains on the metal.

Claiming Your 2-Year Warranty

If you believe your jewellery has a manufacturing issue covered by our warranty, please follow these steps:

For evaluations conducted outside our showroom, a deposit of $40 AUD for two-way postage (within Australia) or $200 AUD for two-way FedEx (from outside Australia) will be required.

Please review the warranty coverage before returning the item, as the postage deposit won't be refunded if the issue isn't a manufacturing defect.

We'll assess the jewellery for warranty coverage. If the damage isn't covered, we'll provide a repair quote for your approval. If you decline the repair, the pre-paid deposit will cover the return shipping.

If the issue is a manufacturing defect, the full postage deposit will be refunded, and the repair will be conducted at no charge.

Note that any repairs or services by a jeweller other than Timeless Jewels will void our 2-Year Warranty.

Wear and Tear (Not Covered by the Warranty)

While our manufacturing warranty covers defects, it doesn't cover damage due to normal wear and tear, accidents, mishandling, or abusive use. Examples of common jewellery issues not considered manufacturing defects include:

Dents, abrasions, and scratches on settings due to normal wear.
Damage to gemstones caused by accidents or wear and tear.
Precious metals discolouration due to chemical exposure or environmental factors.
Prongs wearing down or bending from everyday use.
Loss of gemstones due to wear or damage.

Jewellery Care

To preserve your ring's beauty and longevity, we recommend removing it during hands-on activities, sporting events, gym sessions, and heavy housework. Take off your jewellery before these activities to avoid damage. Regular professional checks are advisable to ensure stone settings' security and to address any wear-related issues.
